Interior Designer Internet Marketing
The results have been very positive and most of my new, non-referred leads come from my website. I am pleased to recommend him to you. I feel very fortunate to have found Ken and to have the opportunity to work with him!

Ken and his team of associates developed branding for Karen in the form of Karen Hartley Interiors. They developed a website for her that was both aesthetically pleasing, functional, and SEO-friendly. Then Ken launched an SEO campaign that quickly brought Karen to the top of the search engines.
Some say that new domain names take a long time to get top positions in search results, yet Ken’s experience is that this is simply not true. Top positions are earned by the hard-work of a skilled SEO professional, and this is exactly what Karen got. (Click on the image to open the site →)
Ken has knowledge of and appreciation of the work of interiors designers and understands the benefits of the services we provide. He also has a clear understanding of who our typical client is and how to best target those people. In addition, he has been a delight to work with, a great listener, and a very consistent web developer. I am pleased to recommend him to you. I feel very fortunate to have found Ken and to have the opportunity to work with him!
After contacting Karen for a recommendation, Joanne brought her needs to Ken. Joanne signed on in early May, and before the month was over they launched Joanne’s newly branded Joanne Jakab Interior Designs website. Using a new domain name it took Joanne’s site less than two weeks to reach a top spot in Google for her main keyword “Burlington Ontario Interior Designer.” Ken and Joanne are working together to create new content, new keywords, and new possibilities!
While on one of my many Google searches for industry information a long time design friend – Karen Hartley – was showing up. And she showed up on general google searches as a front page resource for interior design along with House Beautiful. Of course I was happy but also intrigued. So, I dug a little deeper online and found that her website was listed in the top 1,000,000 of all sites in the U.S. when I checked it on Alexa. I contacted Karen and she shared that she had met a local webmaster – Ken Lewis – and she liked him. Karen’s personal endorsement carries a lot of weight with me. So, I gave Ken a call a couple of months ago hoping to begin an investigation that would eventually lead up to having a new site up and running later in the fall of this year. I was under the impression that it would take time and I like to plan so that my goals are more likely to be achieved.
One month after signing up with Ken Lewis it’s already giving me front page for my town and I am sure it will gain the same for the other local town I am targeting for my business. I had given Ken the direction for the overall feel and look and also listened to his suggestions that would help in developing the site SEO. He had my up and running before I knew it! And, now we are in ongoing contact to continue to develop and grow the site. His unique system made it so easy. I just pay him a monthly fee of $427.00 for my site, SEO, and other Internet Marketing services, as part of a one-year contract — the value is worth 100 times what I have received so far.
I feel Ken has a brilliant mind and a caring heart. He really has an amazing personal journey that has taken him to this career. Like a good designer he knows how to ask questions and listen. And, his background has given him the business acumen to meld our need for beautiful photo rich sites with the technical SEO skills to get actual results. The best thing I can say about Ken Lewis is that he really likes and appreciates interior design and interior designers. I hope many designers sign up with Ken and get to experience what I have experienced.

Ken’s love of Interior Design is rooted in being raised in a home that was the product of some very talented interior designers. As a child he remembers seeing his home featured in Better Homes & Gardens magazine, and he was always proud to show that issue to his friends. Eventually his family built a new home and interior designer Nate Berkus designed the entire interior from scratch (with the exception of some art collected from around the world).
According to Ken, the experience of living in a well designed home is transformative. A beautiful space with the perfect mixture of colors and materials elicits a primal relaxation response. It sends the signal to everyone in the space that everything is good, and it offers the calling to relax and enjoy.
The right space becomes a conduit for sweet socializing and memorable family time. There is some energetic quality about being in a well designed space that brings one to the present moment. It helps us drop our concerns and encourages us to appreciate all of the beauty that life has to offer. It signals to us that we have “made it,” that the struggle for survival is behind us, and that we can turn off our ambitious side and sink into the comfort that we deserve. And, it provides the perfect atmosphere in which to host others and gift them with the experience of beauty, friendship, and love. No matter how successful one is in one’s professional life, a poorly designed home leaves the unconscious feeling that one has not yet arrived.
